We are trade qualified, professional carpet & vinyl installers, being in the industry for over 40 years. We provide an extensive knowledge and expertise in the floor coverings industry, and pride ourselves on a "hands on" approach from quotations through to installations.
We were proud to train the QLD "Apprentice of the Year" in 2002.

Questions & Answers
Do I Have To Move My Furniture?
To ensure a quick process of installing your new flooring, removing your own furniture is advised. However, if you require our installers to assist you, please contact us for a quote.
Our installers will move the shell of furniture only, items must be ready as follows:
Chests of Drawers - Empty and drawers removed
Display Cabinets - Empty and glass shelves removed
Beds - Sheets/blankets removed and bed frame dismantled
IMPORTANT:
We will not dismantle items
We do not disconnect/re-connect any electrical, plumbing or gas items
Can You Lay Vinyl Planks Over Ceramic Tiles? Do I Have to Remove Them?
Not in all cases. Depending on the stability and particular layout of the ceramic tiles, we can often floodcoat a levelling compound over them - thus reducing the need to jackhammer them up.
What Happens if Our Doors are Too Low for the New Floor Coverings?
You will have to cut the bottom of the doors (or have someone do it for you). We can recommend carpenters to do this for you, if you cannot arrange it yourself.
Will The Installers Need a Power Supply?
Yes, we will require power on site when installing, including sufficient lighting as a safety regulation. This is up to the customer to ensure appropriate power/lighting is on site prior to the installers arriving.
Are the Installers Trade Qualified?
Yes, copies of Trade Certificates can be provided on request.
Do I Need to Be Home/On Site for Installation to Occur?
We prefer if the customer is home/on site during installation, however, if this is not possible, we can arrange collection of keys, etc to complete the work. We do ask that the customer is there upon job completion to inspect the finished product and to finalise payment.
What Are Your Payment Terms?
50% deposit to confirm the job, with the balance payable on completion. We do not offer finance.
What Warranty or Guarantee Do You Offer?
All products come with a manufactures warranty, and Sunstate Floor Coverings provide a two year installation/workmanship guarantee.
